At the time they were the name in American crowd control - Tensabarrier posts and velour ropes, made in-house rather than sourced.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe company goes back to 1881, when it started as a metal-fabricating shop in New York City, and it still assembles and ships from Bay Shore, New York. The market has changed a great deal since 2002 and we now carry several manufacturers, but the ropes are made the same way they always were.
