Reflective Striped Stanchions

Reflective striped stanchions do one thing a painted stripe cannot: return light. Under headlights, a torch or a work lamp the stripe lights up, which is the difference between a barrier being seen and being driven into.

When reflective is the right call

• Night working and shift changeovers
• Car parks, loading bays and yards with vehicle movement
• Outdoor events that run past dusk
• Unlit or poorly lit areas of a warehouse
• Roadside and verge work

If the area is fully lit whenever it is in use, standard striped stanchions do the same job for less.

Reflective posts and reflective chain

A reflective post with plain chain still leaves the span between posts unlit. For a run crossing a vehicle route, consider spacing posts closer rather than relying on the chain to be seen — the posts are what a driver picks up first.

Fittings
