Steel & Plastic Barricades – Safety Barriers for Crowd & Traffic Control

Barricades are for holding a perimeter, not guiding a queue. Where a belt barrier suggests a line, a barricade resists a crowd leaning on it — event frontages, construction hoardings, parade routes and pedestrian separation on live traffic.

Fixed sections or expanding?

• CrowdMaster™ fixed 8 ft sections — steel, in flat-foot and bridge-foot versions. The workhorse for long straight runs and repeated events. Bridge feet let adjoining sections interlock and turn corners cleanly; flat feet suit runs against a wall.
• FlexPro and FlexMaster expanding barricades — concertina units that pull out to length and fold flat for storage. Far quicker to deploy and store, and they absorb an irregular gap that fixed 8 ft sections cannot. FlexMaster 75 and 110 and FlexPro 110 and 160 differ in expanded length.

Steel or steel-aluminium?

FlexPro 110 is offered in both. Steel is the harder-wearing and lower-cost option; the steel-aluminium version is materially lighter, which matters if the same crew sets up and strikes the barrier repeatedly or carries it any distance. If your barricades live on a truck and go up weekly, weight is worth paying for.

Access and branding

Barricade gates in 38" and 79" widths give controlled entry through an otherwise solid run — decide where those go before the run is planned, not after. Barricade jackets turn each section into printed surface, which is worth it wherever the barrier line ends up on camera.
