Stowaway is the Tensabarrier built to travel. The post breaks down and packs into a carry bag, which makes it the answer for barriers that are not stored where they are used.

Who this is for

Event crews working multiple venues, mobile clinics and testing sites, film and photography units, exhibitions and roadshows — anywhere the barrier arrives in a vehicle and has to be set up by whoever is on site that day, without tools.

What you get

The Model SA1 post carries a 7 ft 6 in to 13 ft belt, the same mechanism as the fixed Tensabarrier range. The 4-pack ships with a bag, which is the configuration most travelling crews want — four posts closes a simple run and the bag keeps them together between jobs.

The trade-off

A post designed to be light enough to carry is a post with less base weight than a permanent stanchion. For crowd restraint or an exposed outdoor position, a heavier fixed post will hold the line better. Stowaway is for guidance you can pack away, not for holding back a crowd.
