The parts that go with a floor-mounted stanchion, and the ones people forget to order until the installation is half done.

Floor sockets and caps

A removable stanchion needs a socket set into the floor and a cap to close it when the post is out. Neither is included with the post. Order one socket and cap per post position — including positions you may only use occasionally, because cutting the floor twice costs far more than a spare socket.

The standard socket suits most installations. The mini floor socket is 1" in diameter and 2" deep, sitting almost invisible once capped — the right choice in a lobby or gallery where the floor is part of the finish. Both sit flush when capped, so there is no trip hazard when the posts are away.

Flange covers

A fixed post bolts down through a flange, which is functional but not attractive. A flange cover conceals the fixings and gives a finished look — worth it anywhere customers see the base.

Signage
