QueueMaster

The QueueMaster 550 is the economy line of the Queue Solutions range — the same retractable belt mechanism and cast iron base as the premium models, at a lower price point. It is the best-selling stanchion in the US market, and the one most of our customers order when they need a large number of posts for a standard indoor queue.

Choosing a belt length

QueueMaster 550 is offered with an 8.5 ft, 11 ft or 13 ft belt, plus an Xtra model with a wider 11 ft belt for higher-visibility lines.

If you are unsure, 11 ft is the length most customers choose — it is by some distance the most ordered belt length across our stanchion range. It spans a typical checkout or entrance gap without leaving the belt slack, and posts stay far enough apart that you need fewer of them for the same run.

Twin-belt models

Twin models carry two belt cassettes on one post, letting you run two parallel lines from a single row of stanchions — useful for switchback queues where a standard post would mean buying two rows.

Stock finishes

QueueMaster 550 ships from stock in five finishes: Black, Polished Stainless, Satin Stainless, Polished Brass and Satin Brass. Black is a powder coat; the stainless and brass finishes are plated. Note that this is a narrower stock range than the QueuePro Premium line, which adds Antique Copper, Pewter Nickel, Statuary Bronze and English Antique.

Multi-packs

Sets of four and six are available in Black and Polished Stainless. If you are laying out a queue from scratch, counting posts first is worth the five minutes — a switchback line needs one more post than it looks like it does, because the run has to start and finish against a wall or a fixed point.
