WeatherMaster

WeatherMaster is the outdoor member of the range — built to stay outside through weather, sun and temperature swings that would degrade an indoor post's finish and mechanism within a season.

Belt length by model

• WeatherMaster 250 — 11 ft or 13 ft belt, and an Xtra version with a wider 11 ft belt
• WeatherMaster 300 — 16 ft belt
• WeatherMaster 335 — 20 ft belt, for the widest spans

Twin models are available on the 250 and 300, carrying two cassettes on one post.

The finish decision

This is where outdoor installations go wrong. Plated finishes such as chrome and brass are not suited to outdoor use — they look excellent for one season and then pit. Where the product offers a weatherized option, take it; we double-coat the metal surfaces and the base loader.

Wind and span

A long belt in an exposed position catches wind and pulls posts out of line. Outdoors, more posts at shorter spacing holds a straighter run than fewer posts stretched to maximum span — the opposite of the advice indoors.
