Rope Safety Barriers

Rope safety barriers pair a traditional rope stanchion with a safety application — for spaces where a hazard barrier still has to look like it belongs in a lobby, gallery or heritage building.

The two ranges

Elegance Safety is the premium option: heavy-gauge steel on a cast iron base, in polished and satin finishes. RopeMaster Safety is the economy equivalent, giving the same traditional appearance at a lower price point.

When rope is the right barrier

Closing a staircase in a historic building, roping off a wet floor in a hotel lobby, protecting an exhibit during maintenance. In all of these a high-visibility plastic post would be conspicuous in the wrong way — the barrier is temporary but the setting is not.

Where visibility genuinely matters more than appearance, do not compromise: use SafetyPro or striped stanchions instead.

Rope is ordered separately

Posts are supplied without rope. Add the length and style from stanchion ropes; maximum recommended span is 6 ft.
